The 10.5 inch TFT screen provides a full colour display with adjustable backlight. The infra-red touch screen is supported by an additional 13 function keys and touch mouse.

Software applications run under a Windows NT environment. Current packages include AVL mapping, clinical audit, database and messaging applications which can be customised for individual requirements.

The Mobile Computer provides dual hard disk drives (currently up to 24 Gbyte) with connections for the Terrafix Micro GPS receiver and communications including RAM, Paknet and VHF.

The Mobile Computer measures 35cm in length, 25cm in height and 5cm in depth.

Different configurations of both hardware and software are available to suit various mobile applications including police, ambulance, fire and general transportation.

Options

Heat pump with fast switch on down to -15°C without unnecessary battery drain. Operational temperature is maintained for up to five hours without using the vehicle battery.

Support for two displays in master/slave operation using LVDS differential connections to prevent EMC problems.
