MDT - 1000
 The MDT-1000 is
a rugged Mobile Data Terminal, combining colour with touch-screen technology. It can run
either Windows 95 or DOS applications. The Windows environment with 32Mb memory provides a
platform for Terrafix applications including in-vehicle mapping, GPS tracking, customised
report forms, status and two-way text message facilities. User applications can be loaded
through the floppy drive, or printer interface.The MDT-1000 provides mobile computing both in-vehicle and man-portable. The internal rechargeable battery allows the user to operate away from the vehicle for data entry at the source. Serial port and PCMCIA sockets allow use of various communications including RAM, Paknet, GSM, Inmarsat D+ etc. Protected against vibration, shock and water, the MDT-1000 is available exclusively from Terrafix. |
